I was wondering whether there are any thoughts on who the better wet weather players are in the side, and particularly, whether any of those are in the reserves.

Does Josh Thewliss for instance , have good wet weather ability?Seems to have "good hands". Any comments from reserves game watchers would be appreciated.

If not, I guess that selections wont be able to help overcome the wet weather form problem.

Perhaps we need wet weather training drills.

I say we get a bunch of old footballs, cover them with axle grease so they are heavy and slippery. Get the players to move the balls from one end of the ground to the other while wearing footy boots weighted down with lead weights.

a small problem of water restrictions in sydney. Im not sure how often they are allowed to water the ground though, so why not turn on sprinklers just before the team trains?
