has to be freo for me. gave away draft picks, but two super midfielders, lots of talented youth anyway.......
i know that neither carr nor black were ever on the radar for sydney, but:mad:

Hawthorn, in the long term anyway. They won't have a forward line next year, but they have some quality youth coming to the club.
Freo did do well. But lost a tall for a small.
Melbourne did well.

Richmond didn't do too badly either. In effect got Simmonds for Ottens plus a couple of extra first round picks.

Yep, Richmond, they lost Ottens who hadn't performed for them for 2 years anyway, gained Simmonds and have 5 picks in the Top 20.
Looking good for Plough's five year contract.

Hawthorn easily. Freo did terribly. No way is Josh Carr worth what they paid. Black for Simmonds isn't too bad though...

i think that freo would be happy considering port wanted Pav or hasleby. i know they were just "playing hardball" but i think freo will have the biggest noticable advantage next season. good points on the longer term advantages though.......

I reckon Freo overall, with Geelong getting the best available (Ottens).
