Well i am too biased to do this because ill put sydney 1

so ill predict the other 15 and leave the swans out..... they can slot in wherever....... but if anyone wants to do this put the swans in...Not that i could stop you anyway

1- West Coast
2- Brisbane
3- Stkilda
4- Port Adelaide
5- Fremantle
6- Geelong
7- Collingwood
8- Carlton
9- Melbourne
10- Western Bulldogs
11- Essendon
12- Richmond
13- Adelaide
14- Kangaroos
15- Hawthorn

1 - St Kilda
2 - Port Adelaide
3 - Brisbane
4 - Sydney
5 - Geelong
6 - West Coast
--------------------- bit of a jumble after this point.
7 - Fremantle
8 - Melbourne
9 - Kangaroos
10 - Essendon
11 - Carlton
12 - Collingwood
13 - Adelaide
14 - Richmond
15 - Bulldogs
16 - Hawthorn

That's only if things all go as I'd expect, which they won't. I'll be happy if I can get 10 of the 16 clubs withing a one-spot radius... ie, for Geelong that would be 4-6.

It's all a bit of a guess, so I'll go with Charlie's, except for these positions, plus I think the Bulldogs might finish a couple of places higher.

4 - Geelong
5 - West Coast
6 - Sydney

but outside that i think west coast will rise
they have a lot of depth with an awesome midfield
they are a big threat for 2005 IMHO

It would be nice if we finished first, but let's be realistic - you'd expect pretty enormous odds against us finishing top after the H&A.

If you are saying that West Coast will rise, I personally think they won't rise that much, not enough to get top of the ladder or near it. Maybe 5th or 6th???

I think Geelong will do well in 2005. That's all I will venture to predict.

I reckon St kilda will fall down, and port will lie low until the finals, but Brisbane will be going strong for the whole season, come finals, they'll be worn out so they'll have to work harder if they're going to win

I think brisbane will get a slow start on account of the fact that their fisrt three games are againt stong opposition, and that their whole forward structure is being re jigged. So they may fall a little, Geelong to get better, so to North, west coast . The Saints will be about the same so to Swans .

Port Adelaide
Saints
Geelong
West Coast
Brisbane
Melbourne
North Melb
Sydney

Essendon
Collingwood
Freo

Intentional. Not interested in getting into an argument right now on the prospects of the most important team.

I always wait till the end of August. I get remarkably good accuracy that way. :)

We should win atleast 16 games I've worked out.

"At least" - LOL. Sure it will be nice, but that's close to some wishful thinking. If we do really really well we might win 15-16.

We've won 16 twice in the past 50+ years - 1996 and 1986.

(and 16 in '45 from 20 games - our best effort since the '30s).

11th December 2004, 10:20 PM
Damn right it'd be nice. I am also being realistic!

NMWBloods

More than 16 games is not realistic - it's hopeful.

But 'atleast 16'. I meant around the 16 mark.
