OK...necks on the chopping board. Lets have your finishing order for 2005, at the end of the H&away season. Here's mine: Hooping for something like the top four...bottom half of the 8, any of the teams 5 to 14 could make it...
For me, only two teams that might as well give up now...Crows and Hawks... (that said, it means there's more than a chance they'll do us in rd 1 )

1. Port
2. Brisbane
3. West Coast
4.Sydney

5. St Kilda
6. Geelong
7. Melb
8. Richmond

9. Carlton
10. Wobbles
11. Freo
12. Bullies
13. Bombers YES YES YES
14. Roos
15. Crows
16. Hawks YES YES YES :D

1. St Kilda
2. Port Adelaide
3. West Coast
4. Sydney

5. Brisbane - Will miss Lynch, and Brown will miss 6 weeks this year
6. Geelong
7. Fremantle - Will have a good home record this year
8. Carlton - sides that win pre-season comp have made the finals at least 80% of the time in the past 20 years. Expect them to have a good year.

9. Bombers - finished 8th 3 years in a row and they are due to miss
10. Melbourne - It's an odd year so they won't make the finals
11. Collingwood - Hot and cold year, will upset a few sides but drop winnable games
12. Kangaroos
13. Adelaide
14. Bulldogs - Will improve this year.
15. Richmond
16. Hawks - Need draft picks.

Best value bets: Carlton and Sydney to make the finals

It's time. here's mine:

1. Port (I hate myself for tipping them but they look as strong as last year)
2. St Kilda (but I would love to see them beat Portin the GF if we dont make it that far)
3. Sydney (preliminary final for sure)
4. Brisbane (their era is over - ta ta)
5. Fremantle (very underestimated after some good draft picks)
6. West Coast (not sure they're as good as some are predicting)
7. Geelong (a fluke last year)
8. Melbourne (its an odd year but they'll scrape in)
9. Carlton (improving)
10. Collingwood (bad start with injuries already)
11. Essendon (time to get rid of Sheedy)
12. Richmond (ho hum)
13. North (has beens)
14. Western Bulldogs (even Rocket wont lift them any higher)
15. Adelaide (toss up with Hawks for the spoon)
16. Hawthorn (ker-plunk)
