Collingwood probably. Most opposition fans dislike Collingwood but I have a soft spot for them. They have provided something of a dumping ground for soft players on our list, and provided us with some club-champions in return.

Most fans are probably Collingwood, but I think most members is Essendon.

What do you mean by best fans?

I would also suggest that Sydney possibly has the most fans, being one team in a city of more than 4 million plus its Melbourne based support and other fans around the country. Of course, not all of those fans attend games. My sister is a big fan but she hardly ever goes to games, rather she watches on TV.

You could be right about the Sydney audience, but remember most of Melb supports the pies in the same way.

id say most fans might be richmond even, because half their supporters have been annoyed with the team since 1982 basically and dont sign up!

though adelaide has the most members in the league and maybe the most supporters

I'm pretty sure Collingwood, Essendon, Adelaide and West coast have more members than St.Kilda.

Watching Collingwood, atm, can be a great cure for the insomnia you seem to be afflicted with.

i think that Adelaide has the most members. Collingwood fans seem to be everywhere, which makes sense given the amount of tv coverage that they get. If you are a kid growing up in the middle of nowhere and the only team you get to see every single week without fail is collingwood, well....

Not true Andrew, The Eagles would be the ones who would have as many members as the Crows. Especially with the Crows expecting a dip. The Dockers have 35000 odd, which is great for them. But they are still very much Perth's second team.
