2005 International Rules Series Schedule Announced
4:41:14 PM Mon 11 April, 2005

The AFL today announced the 2005 Fosters International Rules Series against Ireland would be played in Perth and Melbourne in late October, following the success of similar dates for the 2003 series.

AFL Football Operations Manager Adrian Anderson said the opening Test would be held at Subiaco on Friday October 21, in recognition of the sell-out at the ground two years, ago, with the second match to be played at Telstra Dome on Friday October 28, in the lead-up to Melbourne Cup week.

Great news for Western Australian lovers of fisticuffs and needless injuries! I'll be there.
