How soft is AFL getting? It was nothing, just a little tap in the guts. It is about time the AFL learnt that this is a contact sport, and a little contact will be made. Where the contact is deemed to be dangerous, fair enough. But there was nothing in it.

Maybe if the struck player had reeled back a bit more you would have bought it.

If players get reported for stuff, they should only face charges if the opposing player is physically hurt.

What if they are charged with making a racist comment?

Well how can they prove that the other player expressed racism?

Gehrig has had his punch downgraded, and gets one week.
Good for Gehrig and the saints. But how does that compare to Jolly.

Jolly gets two weeks, for an act of stupidity, with neglible damage wit hno priors (?).
Gehrig gets one, for an act of stupidity, with neglible damage and he has 2 priors.

I just don't understand the new system.
