    If I was a Carlton fan, I’d be an alcoholic. I’m not … a Carlton fan. But it’s fun to watch them with a few wines under the belt.

    Yes, an honourable loss to last year's premiers might have eased the pressure on them but it's looking ugly again for them now. And yes, it's a crying shame. I'm heartbroken for them.

    started a topic General footy chat Round 18: the other games.

    Round 18: the other games.

    This round seems a lot more appealing than last week's slop, with Suns v Magpies, Bulldogs v Crows, Giants v Cats and Dockers v Hawks, all looking to be quality games. Plus of course, in tonight's game, there's a certain attraction to the prospect of the Lions turning Carlton an even deeper shade of blue.
