By Goodes' standards, he has been poor, but he'll NEVER be not in the best 22 in the next few seasons. Players of his ilk are always going to be allowed to run back into form in the seniors because even when they're poor, they'll still attract attention from the opposition better stoppers and they'll still be better than the bottom end of the list.
