I know the standard is low, but 48 posessions and 7 goals from midfield is certainly a fair days work.

In: Hall, Kennelly, Bucky and LRT

Out: Vogels, Grundy, Bevan and Leo

I can sort of remember Roos saying a few months back that he`ll have another life after footy and that once his times up with the Swannies, that`s it.

    Roos wanted at Carlton

According to O'Keefe's article Carlton hope to pach Roos.
What is the chances of them takeing him away and he is signed to us for two years yet - does the signing count for anything?

Hope he doesn't go. Still has a lot to offer this group. Don't think Colless would let him go.

No idea if you're taking the piss with that list of players...

    Suspect you probably are.

Melbourne have some very good youngsters too. I reckon that as a trio of very young up and comings mids, Nathan Jones, Matthew Bate and Ricky Pettard are as good as any other team's. Add Brock McLean in there, who's not much older, and that is the core of a midfield that is capable of quality grunt as well as a bit of run, carry and flair. Much rounder players than the soft old Johnstone, Green and Yze.

    I think the Blues.....

They're just about to turn the corner you would think. They have a team capable of putting a score on the board which is the first element of a winning combination. Yesterday against us, they still chalked up 100 points and are second in the league for scoring. That shows they know how to win games.

What they don't have is a lot of defensive skill. This is indicative of a young team that only wants to/knows how to attack. With a bit more maturity, they'll learn the importance of defence.

In the next couple of years Demons will lose a lot of their KPP like Neitz, White, Yze and Robertson to name a few. Take out a few of those and the Demons list starts to lack a bit of polish.

Dees will go backwards, Blues will come out of the wilderness....
