We all know what shocking kicks the midfield are. They were obvious ly aiming for Hall and missed badly. Davis was just in the wrong spot at the right time.

I agree, and he looks and plays better for it. Too much of footy is about measurables, and not enough about what feels right. Physically fit and jumping out of skin Davo is usually injury list Davo. Thank heavens Plugger played when he did. Roos would have asked him to lose 25 kilos and do the O'Keefe role - "he is far too good a kick to be wasted at full forward..."

Now that you've mentioned it I noticed a few fat blokes singing the song too.

Is this a subtle change to our game plan with ROK also spending more time up forward.

Davo looked very sharp and focused last night and that run to space around the 50 mark going forward was really good stuff and they picked him out. He seems to finding form at the right time and we are looking more dangerous up forward for it.

how great was it to see ROK in the forward line...
I heard ont he radio last week someone saying this and after 2 games I believe the point to be right, just because ROK can run a thousand miles a game, why should he, he is soooo useful in the forward line and the whole team lifts from his performance and him working with davo and hall in that area we are a machine...

    here come the finals.

We need to have the likes of MO'L, Rok and Tricky Nicky to kick at least as many as Barry, if not more, every game. Throw in a cple from the likes of Schneider, Spida, Bucky and a cple from our midfield and that's a winning scoreline every week.

MO'L has been firing all year. ROK and Tricky looks like they are now playing themselves into some consistent goal kicking form. Barry doesn't need to be firing as much as we need the others. He'll still draw #1 & 2 defenders that allow the others to do their job.

agreed...but we need someone like BBBH to take the other teams best defender so we can free up the ROK, MOL and Davis little more

The funny thing being that it makes Hall more dangerous too.
