With Spida in the side we would have been back to back premiers, and possibly given the club the option to leave Jolly out, knowing his mind would not have been on the job.
Except that Spida spent the second half of last season injured.

Who knows whether he'd still have got injured had he been playing for us.

2 decent ruckman on the field for 20 games so far, i can honestly say for the first time since 93 i have enjoyed watching spida play for the simple reason he is playing for us and not killing us with his ruckwork and his play around the ground, just wish we could see him as a marking target more often upfront. great pickup for us on all fronts, and unlike the donk he makes it on the field. doyle would have to go down as a similar story to heath james had the talent but injuries curtailed his career, maybe he will still make it but it wont be at the swans.

He has been outstanding on and off the field. He apparently is one of the most liked players at the Club
Having his experience around the club is a bonus for everyone!

    Absolutely!
I'm surprised the question was raised. He must be in the running for B&F.

Exactly. Chambers did nothing for us last year and Doyle will forever be on our injury list and Spida has done a great job in the ruck.
