This game has no bearing on our finals chances. We with either finish 7th or 8th which are almost identical as far as finals go.

I'd say time to rest any one who is carrying an injury, and play any players who should be in the team but may not be match fit (eg LRT).

A nice soft game, even if its a loss, is probably what we need if we are going to have a crack in the next month.

Finally Roosy will be forced to make a few changes, unfortunately it's due to injuries.

Hopefully Roos will take note of this. He should prepare the team with the ability to rest those players.

Pick two teams, both with all the players that can not play out of them.
Select the emergencies to replace the players that are carrying an injury. If WCE get up, rest those players and play the emergencies. We may as well be as fresh as possible for the finals, and really little difference between 7th and 8th.

The Doc said today that there are 7 injured players. One that surprised me was Schneider who has an ankle problem. He thought the only definate starter for next week is Leo and Buchanan is sure to miss also.Sad to see Crouch reduced to the condition he played under last night.
We have had such a good run...we now know what other teams ie St Kilda have been through.

The way poor Ed Barlow has been eaten eaten up by the RWO perfectionists, I would discourage anyone new coming in at this stage.
I've seen him dominate and look pretty ordinary out there, but I don't care. It'd be exciting.

Oh, I thought I saw him come back on for a brief stint.

Home game so the ground won't be too strange for him. Big strong kid, probably can't run out a whole match but it wouldn't be the first time we had a youngster getting 60 minutes. I think it'd be an exciting debut.

I remember Collingwood picking Rene Kink for his first game in a finals series. maybe it is time for something out of left field.

As for ins: Dempster, Schmidt and LRT/Grundy
