I hope LRT doesn't expect him to sleep in an Auskick sized bed!

He works at McDonalds, so filling out won't be a problem but the skinfolds might be.

Now after those 30training sessions they must have had a fair inkling that they were on to something.

What is he, 205cms and probably still growing, atheletic, covers enormous ground etc and assessed on 3 games and 30 training sessions.

Move over Matthew Kruzer, and we got this kid for nicks. Anyone prepared to put up odds this guy makes it, I will gleefully take them.

On the otherhand, we may have done better than a Smokey Davis! Not a good example comparison.

As it takes ruckmen time to develop, playing in the ressies next year will get his skills up quickly. If he is a gifted sport'sman than he will pick up the game quickly.

Can't wait to see him Swans v pies and he destroys wood in the ruck! First round pick versus no round pick. I'd love to see Eddie Boner choke on that one!

Does this mean we could hit up Mark Worthington? He is a forward who plays for the Kings, is about 6'7 1/2 and was a top AFL prospect (we were actually one of the teams that recruited him heavily) in WA before deciding to concentrate on basketball... he has done 4 years at college then 2 years as a pro, so safe to assume he hasn't been registered with an AFL club in the past 4 years. Probably only making $100k as an NBL player this year, although he is having a stellar season and will probably have a big payday coming... could be more worth the risk that Donkey!

Everitt, Jolly, Orreal, Irish kid, LRT (At a pinch).... Plenty of ruck options there....
The Irish kid is a running midfielder or half back flanker in the mould of Goodes, he won't play in the ruck and would be pushing it for KP forward/defender role as they won't want to bulk him up and lose his running capacity.

Two starting ruckman, a ready made back-up (if not injured) and at least two in development with Currie & Orreal.

    Sounds like a good mix.

I was thinking Biscuits or Bikkies, although we've already had a Bikkies in the last 10 years.
