i thought his season was fairly disappointing considering we all know what he's capable of. he had a few good games here and there but wasn't consistent enough. i wasn't too happy with the role that he was playing, i prefer him more as a forward, even though his goal kicking was less than perfect this year... you never know what can happen if he gets more match practice...
Roos has flagged a speeding up of the game plan and this should suit O'Keefe and his know how provided the delivery is up to scratch.

8/10 and if we had a half decent midfield that could deliver the footy to the forwards he would win a Brownlow.

    Outstanding player.

I actually thought that O'Keefe went backwards this season.
While he still had some outstanding games, he didn't really standout anywhere near as much as he did in 2006.
However, we all know how good he is, so maybe I'm guilty of marking him a bit harder because of that.

    6/10

Are you taking off or adding a point ?

Just curious to see which way you might take it when Schmidt comes up

Too quite at times. IMO he was a bit inconsistent.

    7/10.

Very solid but not up to the same standard set in 05 & 06. Again played all 23 games this season and has now played every games since 2003 prelim final (therefore 99 in a row).

Is the best overhead mark in the squad and is always trying. I think his ability to offer the long long leads to space suffered due to the injury(s) to Hall. In 2005 and 06 both O'Keefe and Hall were able to offer the long lead resulting in multiple outlet targets from defence or allowing a switch across ground. This year Hall was severely restricted resulting in the opposition being able to concentrate on blocking the space O'Keefe would normally lead into.

His goal kicking was wayward (23 goals 18 behinds) also with unfortunately quite a number of out of bounds on the full.

    Cheers

Depends when in January the conception happens. Some people can count backwards from 9 on a calendar.
