I noticed that Darcy Daniher has been named as emergency for the Bombers.
Wonder if he had of chose to go to the Swans would his name have been put up as a possible inclusion or would he have to wait 2 to 3 years before getting a mention.

Yep, just like Jude Bolton, and no-one can logically say why for either of them.

Like New York he's so good you have to name him twice? Bevo's now an established 22 player

Yeah, hard call as to who to leave out of that team. Personally I hope coaches give the nod to the young and keen types rather than, say, any players who've been dropped in order to learn how to chase and tackle.

But Vezspremi not "on the verge"? He'll most likely debut before O'Keefe, Thornton (but only due to his injury) and Murphy.
Yep missed him, would put him right near the top of those looking to crack into the sequad.

Plug all those players in and I think our best 22 reads:

    BACKS
    Jack Bolton Barry
    Mattner LRT Kennelly

    MIDFIELD
    Malceski Bolton McVeigh

    FORWARDS
    Barlow Hall O'Keefe
    Buchanan O'Loughlin Moore

    RUCKS
    Jolly Kirk Goodes

    BENCH
    Everitt Richards Ablett Davis

    EMERGENCY
    Bird White Fosdike Schmidt

    ON THE VERGE
Bevan Grundy Laidlaw Bevan Murphy Thornton Smith O'Keefe

Pretty damn good side in my book.

Hall, Kennelly, Malceski, Everitt and SCHMIDT would all be in the best 22 (IMO)....plus maybe Fosdike and Crouch when FULLY fit, so that's up 7 players out from our best 22 at the moment (not to mention the others who are injured - Thornton and Grundy). Sheesh, guess this isn't the year when we win the premiership and everyone says we just had an unbelievably good run with injuries!

ROOSEY, Keep it up, even it it means, the likes of Hall, Mathews and Crouch find it tough to get back into the side.
