Yep, best reserves game in 20 years. Came from behind with Davis and Laidlaw combining for some great goals in the last quarter to lift them over the line.

The Belconnen guys ripped in as usual, pushing to the very edge as far as niggle and muscle go, but it's been successful for them in the past and it makes for a great game.

And as Missy said, a not so small group of young fellas sat in the Swans members area and gave it to any Swan who got within earshot, particularly Davis.

Agree. Best reserves game i have ever witnessed. Swans came back from the dead and sealed a great win with Nicky D doing a Wayne Harmes knocking the ball to his left while diving before the ball went over the line to Terlich i think it was for the sealer.

Was it Belconnen that the reserves played in that rip-roaring game at Telstra earlier this year, the warm-up to the Wet Toast game?

Yep. The guys that come up and cheer Belconnen sat behind the goals in the members reserve and game @@@@ to Nick Davis for pretty much the whole game.

That's as strong a lineup as they could have named. This game will be a cracker.

I'm looking forward to this one nearly as much as I am the seniors game. Belconnen are the best performed team in the league this year but I don't think the Swans have lost in Sydney yet this season and I reckon they'll pull this one off. Injecting a player with the class of Veszpremi, now with a couple of games under his belt since his last injury, can make all the difference. I'd love to see him and Davis operating together in the forward line. That's worth salivating over.
