You might be pleasantly surprised by Twitter. I saw a quote the other day saying "Facebook makes you hate people you know. Twitter makes you love people you've never met.".Ugh....does that mean I have SIGN UP for twitter??? I've deliberately avoided ever going near twitter. Every time I hear about someone tweeting it makes me want to puke. And I really, really hate the way it intrudes on nearly every televisioin show there is.
But if I have to do it, I'll do it!
I went to the facebook page but there didn't seem to be a way to just post a comment/question other than replying to specific posts/articles
I considered applying for a job.....at least that will have a real address. :-)
You can just follow and never tweet (like lurking on boards but even easier... ). Tweets are pretty much public. Choose who to follow and you get a customised news feed. e.g., follow @sydneyswans, @afl, @tedrichards25, then just read the feed as you feel like it and ignore it when you don't.Leave a comment:

Of course you don't have to sign up for twitter if you don't want to use the option I suggested. It's merely another communication tool.Ugh....does that mean I have SIGN UP for twitter??? Need to Contact the AFL
If you use Twitter correctly and stay away from the flog element it can be fun and informative.
I'd probably email the Swans who could probably forward your concern on to the appropriate person at the AFL.Leave a comment:

You could try @AFL on Twitter. I've asked questions that way and have always had responses (not always the answers I wanted to hear!).Leave a comment:

Need to Contact the AFL
Does anyone know how to contact the AFL??? The "Contact us" under AFL HQ on the website just goes to BigPond.
I have just found out that NZ may become THE ONLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD where you can't watch the AFL. The Livesport website has a message saying they no longer have the rights and under International rights" the AFL says
"AFLTV is the only product that allows you to watch every minute of every game, from anywhere in the world (excluding Australia and NZ). In 2013 each of the 405 AFL games will be available live or on demand via your desktop, tablet and mobile."
But, of course New Zealanders cannot access BigPond paid material. And it's not like the AFL are not aware that we can't see the Swans here. Further down the page under the New Zealand TV section it says
"SKY?s AFL coverage includes one match each week of the 2012 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, plus an exciting weekly highlights package. The action doesn?t stop there, with one match each week of the 2012 Toyota AFL Finals Series, and the game?s marquee event, the 2012 Toyota AFL Grand Final, from the MCG.
Please, please anyone...how do I get in contact with these morons? Surely they can't have suddenly decided to give us equal access as Australian viewers?????? (and then not told anyone!)
Help
