I'm already imagining the stony silence at the Scott family Christmas lunch. But I might be getting ahead of myself.

Cunning deployment of reverse psychology to fool the footy gods now in play.

There's no depths I won't plumb to see us in the top 2

I watched the Swans play West Coast at the Alexandria Hotel.
During half time in our game we watched the end of the Crows Cats game. Amazing how everyone wanted the Crows to win. Nice to see the Cats brought down a peg!

I missed a key word in that sentence. -"NOT"

They will not be stripped of points.

I am reasonably confident about top 4 for us now but I really really really want to finish ahead of Essendon. They have Hawthorn next and then Collingwood. They don't have any absolute gimmes to come but also don't have to leave Melbourne again in the regular season.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out how much is going to hinge on our last two home & away games against Geelong and Hawthorn. If we're serious and peaking as we should then we should win the four games prior to our trip to Geelong.

Incidentally, our last six games are all against Victorian opposition.
