Congrats on a successful career Shane Biggs. With your surname, I wish you’d stayed a Swan, and I do kinda wish you’d’ve been denied any Premiership success. But congrats on your career and best of luck on your future endeavours -
If he's not, then he's not far off it. He is right about his team, basically saying Freo are an 8 win a season team. But his combative,
aggressive tone during the press conference after yet another belting (I read somewhere they have lost 9 games this year by over
50 pts) is one thing, but he never offers much hope or upside the way Brendan Bolton can at least occasionally do. I can't imagine
his rambling on yesterday about how long a "rebuild" should take will fill Freo supporters with much confidence. You'd think having
23 goals consecutive goals kicked against you might suggest a bit more is not going well than just having a bad hair day. Going by
his public persona, he is hard to love. Maybe they'll fire him. It's always easier to replace a coach than a bunch of players.Last edited by KTigers; 20 August 2018, 11:05 AM.Leave a comment:

Yep not sad at all to see the end of Norf for the year - though I feel they vastly overperformed compared to expectations. Wet Toast fans will always be feral - I reckon they will fear running into us in the finals though.I quite enjoyed Melbourne making the finals, in front of some of the more obnoxious elements of the Eagles crowd. Don't those dickheads ever get tired of booing? And speaking of booing, I enjoyed seeing North's season killed off, by a spectacular Eddie Betts leap.
If we just beat Hawthorn next week, then will be a sort of trifecta, against clubs whose booing irritates me the most.

I only saw the last bit of the North game: did they stop giving soft frees to Ben the Tumbleweed?

Also can't believe I tipped a perfect round this week - only 1 behind in my work comp ($500 to the winner!) and 1 behind in the race for RWO pride as well. Need to repeat the dose next week!
Much better than my NRL tipping this week (where pretty much every favourite got rolled!) - was only 2 games behind in that with a double round to play before this weekend. Guess who chose to play a double round, got a total of 2 (i.e. 1 game right!) and am now 4 behind the leader

If he didn't have a ridiculously long contract, surely he would be out the door. They were beyond diabolically bad yesterday - the rebuild looks to be well off track with more pain to come in the near years at well.Leave a comment:

Cats to play the Suns and Hawkins who is currently just one behind Buddy will have a good chance to take the Coleman too.Leave a comment:

It looks like Ben Brown choked for the Coleman. Buddy is paying $10 being 3 behind Riewoldt. Nothing would make me happier than him kicking another bag in the last round to swoop in to take the Coleman off Jack.Leave a comment:

I really dislike Ross Lyon, even though I suspect he was a factor behind our fairytale premiership in 2005.
His time at Freo is turning into a complete disaster - never mind the way he walked out on the Saints to get there.
Not sure what has gone wrong?Leave a comment:

Didn’t see the game , but how can one team kick 23 unanswered goals .
What has Lyon achieved with the Dockers?Leave a comment:

Is Ross Lyon the grumpiest, most condescending post-match coach press conference coach going around? Although I guess today probably wasn’t his best dayLeave a comment:

Yes. A lot of those 'scoop' journos think it's going to happen. We've been out of the FA and trade market for 5 years while other clubs like Richmond, Hawthorn and Geelong have been very active. It seems like it's time for us to get back in this year. If I can think of a beneficial scenario then surely Kinnear Beatson has it all worked out. We won't hear anything from our side until after the season, so we can only speculate for now.Leave a comment:
