If anything was up, it may have been player confusion/sadness at the Logan dropping and at Reid being selected and as such, the feeling that we didn't have every base covered and were vulnerable going into the match. Also, the squad was divided into separate accommodation in the lead up.....this seemed strange and was a departure from normal preparation.
I fit ain't broke, don't fix it.
Also agree with your last sentence.
Match thread. THE GRAND FINAL!!! Swans v Cats.

Stuff history.....we are talking about the Swans. We were back in a GF two years after a 64 point GF humiliation in 2014.....and we would have won that GF with decent umpires.
Geelong were humiliated just last year in a prelim by 83 pts and won the GF a year later. As I said, stuff history.Leave a comment:

You don't make a grand final without doing a lot right across the season. We were fortunate with injuries this year, which whilst undoubtedly helped our season may have impacted our performance on grand final day.I'm with Royboy. The side is a good one. We just need to do a few things better like recognizing that young and old players will need to be rested at certain times and we need to spread the load better. I wonder where the swans sit on the list of number of players played in a season..
There is also plenty of room for improvement and natural growth of our younger players.Leave a comment:
