Lovechild....developing nicely. Pleased to see him named as an emergency. I haven't seen him play live but I have high hopes and hope next year is it. Tadhg Laidlaw 2007
The door has opened a tiny crack for him.

Well done to the lad but it makes you wonder what Schmidt, Spriggs and Willoughby have done wrong

Maybe they just want to give Matthew a rest and more game time into Schmidt.

He wears No. 22. I hope that doesn't count against him.

sorry i dont see much reserves footy so could anyone fill me on what kinda player laidlaw is? the general gist of this thread is that he is a rebounding half-bank flanker but any more info?
He came to the Swans as a midfielder but he seems to play off half back in the reserves (how surprising!).

I don't know for sure, but i heard that Nick D. wasn't travelling with the team, so surely they take the other 2 emergencies???Originally posted by Sanecow

Hopefully. He looked very good in the brief periods I've seen him and he gets some good reviews.

He mostly plays halfback, sometimes at centre halfback but there have been a few games where he has been pushed forward and kicks goals. He's certainly noticeable due to his pace and long kicking.
