Laidlaw emergency for the 1st time

Lovechild....developing nicely. Pleased to see him named as an emergency. I haven't seen him play live but I have high hopes and hope next year is it. Tadhg Laidlaw 2007

The door has opened a tiny crack for him.

Well done to the lad but it makes you wonder what Schmidt, Spriggs and Willoughby have done wrong

Maybe they just want to give Matthew a rest and more game time into Schmidt.

He wears No. 22. I hope that doesn't count against him.

He came to the Swans as a midfielder but he seems to play off half back in the reserves (how surprising!).

I don't know for sure, but i heard that Nick D. wasn't travelling with the team, so surely they take the other 2 emergencies???

Hopefully. He looked very good in the brief periods I've seen him and he gets some good reviews.

He mostly plays halfback, sometimes at centre halfback but there have been a few games where he has been pushed forward and kicks goals. He's certainly noticeable due to his pace and long kicking.
