Now there is a surprise from you!

    Wouldn't have picked that one.

I reckon Goodes will get it. Been the best player at the club for a while now.
    Would thoroughly deserve it.

There seems to be such a fine line between Goodes at his best and at his worst, so I wonder if the added pressure of captaincy may be too much of a distraction for him?
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Sorry, Leo agrees with Goodes as Captain. (Or B2)

I agree 100% NMW,so just give it to the future captain now in Melcho.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Give it to Tadgh, will make it harder for him to leave a club that he is a Premiership captain of at the end of 2009

BH leaving the co-captaincy is very, very good news.

Hasn't acted like an on-field leader in the last 12 months, continually sniping at team mates and umpires alike.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Goodes is a free spirit. Why would we burden him with the captaincy?

For once I find myself agreeing with someone on this site....

Kirk consistently shows a depth of character and perserverance that is a valuable attribute in a Captain.

The 3 captain's idea doesn't work.... these guys are footballers after all and need just one Captain to follow not 3!!

I can understand someone preferring a one-captain system. We all have different opinions.

But it is hard to substantiate your claim that a multi-captain system doesn't work given the Swans' on-field success while they've used this approach.

His form fluctuation is directly proportional to how he is going in the female stakes.
