By Nikki Tugwell ADAM Goodes or Craig Bolton will replace Barry Hall as captain of the Sydney Swans in 2008. And teammates have voted Tadhg Kennelly, Ryan O'Keefe and Luke Ablett into their leadership group to join Leo Barry, Brett Kirk, Craig Bolton, Goodes and Hall.

Ablett is a surprise. Good luck to the 3 of them.

If it was perfect both of them would get the captaincy. Easy solve to the problem, drop Leo as captain and replace him with Craig.

So Luke Ablett replaces Matthews. Ablett has a fiar bit of work to justify leadership status but then agaim BM didn't need to do whole lot.

Does this mean Matthews could be captain of the 2's in 2008.

I did read somewhere a few weeks back that Matthews isnt in the leadership group now (I know that might sound like wishful thinking on my part, but I did actually read that - not sure where though.)
