I don't like this period either. Keep O'Keefe, one of our true elite
players around who much of our success has been achieved. Still has a
    lot more to offer.

O'Keefe could fly south next winter - realfooty.com.au

Up to ROK, isn't it? I'd prefer he stayed, he has a lot more to offer, especially through midfield/forward. And he seems to fit very well with the rest of the team. But if he decides to go, nothing less than a first round pick would do.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

All this sounds like there are going to be some trades, activity aplenty.

I would give him up for a top 10 pick. Given the situation we're in it wouldn't be a bad thing to do.

No, No, No. Hell No. O'Keefe is a gun with plenty left to offer, a great bloke on and off the field. If I was to choose a team with any player I wanted, O'Keefe would be in it. Kerr wouldn't, he's a good player but an absolute tool, not to mention one of the dirtiest players in the comp.

We need quality mids but not at the expense of ROK.

    Have to agree.

    Keep him at all costs.

If he was to be traded for a 1st and a late 2nd rounder i would be fine with him leaving, would love to see him stay but if we could secure a quick mid and a kp from the draft it would work better for us in the long term

Well the marketing department will certainly have some re-jigging to do if this sorry excuse for a story grows some legs......#5 is THE cover shot in the 09 members guide....saw it this week in an exclusive preview...no more details as death will have to result...... but, don't think he will go myself, the story is rather a beat up in my view, but reckon the marketing team will be getting their cameras out just to be on the safe side.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.
