My house turns 100 in a few months. Just think I could have had QBE insurance for house and contents and buggy and been on the website for what I have done for the Swans...."I've been insured with QBE for 100 years"

Gee, I didn't realise you were of that era.
    You are holding up well.

They had one on display at the 5 yr thing the other night.
They said the weren't sure which way the stripe will run.

Doesn't really matter. It was up to the players to put the Sash on themselves and as a result we had a mix of sashes going in different directions across the body.

So either way is historically correct.
    Once was, now elsewhere

I think the sash should go the opposite way to the way the Richmond/Essendon sash goes. For no other reason than it should be different.

Do you mean an EXACT replica? Pure wool wasn't it? If it rains it would drag on the ground!

Not to mention it would be really itchy!!! I'm still concerned about the sash - will it be attached with velcro?

I suspect that in heraldic terms that would be the bend sinister, i.e. we're bastards.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
