Who can argue with this list? Out for 3 years is the key for the modern day player (& coach).

A great list of champions. The legends choose themselves.
I'm a little surprised that Browning made it in the inaugural list.
I've only been watching since 1980, so they're the only ones I can assess.
Cresswell, Bayes, Wright, Dunkley and Mitchell were probably on the fringes, but I can't really argue with Browning being put ahead of them.

Not going to argue with any of this, and although I didn't see Browning play live he did make our team of the century, and he was a definitely reviered player in his time.
Looks to be a fantastic bunch of blokes who were/are our mob, The Swans.
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood
It's a list that any club would be jealous of!
You could make a case for countless players who aren't on the inaugural list, (like Daryn Cresswell), but I'm sure they'll be added as the years go by.
Browning was an absolute star for South Melbourne and Sydney and thoroughly deserves his place.

A fantastic night. The only one who perhaps should have been on the list and was not because he was chairman of selectors was Ricky Quade. With 38 yrs involvement as player, coach, and committee he deserved it.
The 100 yr membership went for a song and I am disapponted I didnt last to the end with the final 6 at 11k being awarded one each.
It was a fantastic night. The historical items (many of them donated for the night by supporters) on display were amazing. After having a chance to have a look through Jim's new book today I can highly recommend it. So much work has gone into it and the history of the Swans is beautifully presented. I dont know how the players coped with all the signings and photos at the function straight after the game but were so willing and oh so good looking in their suits . Many of the young ones should be well an truly inspired to be part of and hopefully stay with the Swans after this sort of event.
I can honestly say this was one of the best functions I have ever been too. I didn't want it to end, and to top it off I was seated next to Craig Bolton for the evening, what a fantastic guy he is, very proud he is a swannie
He's the only Swan to play 100 games each for South Melbourne and Sydney.
Was a good night, but very long. The 12.20am finish was pretty tough if you had an early flight to catch the next day. I really started to get restless when the Chairman at 12.15am wanted to commence a 'thank you' speech.

Can honestly say this was one of the best if not the best function I have been TO for any sporting team. So well organised...great entertainment, drama, food...great people, players were sooo friendly to approach...
But how good is Barry Round...guy is a LEGEND.
you know what they say, dirty pants- clean botty
