Well, big news for me as I am going down to watch this game. I hope I haven't picked the wrong game.

The Swans had a much easier run than the Demons yesterday and I wonder how much a trip to Subi will affect their performance. If they had won yesterday after a significant comeback and at Subi would have had them pumped for the Swans next week.

Swans major concern will be to see how many were injured from yesterday's game.

Looks like we lose Smith for 3-4 weeks and LRT for at least this week. Assuming we stick with the team that beat Carlton, and why wouldn't we, that really just means the one forced change. The other question is whether or not McVeigh's calf comes up ok, but from what I read it sounds like he was taken off because the game was won as a precautionary move. Jetta would probably be the one to come back I guess but he's not really a swap for Smith in terms of team balance. I'd have thought Rohan might come back through the ressies when fit again but they have a bye this week anyway don't they?

As good as Shaw has been up forward, what about Johnston or Vez in.

Shaw back to defence with one of the above two up forward?

Why move Shaw back to defence where has been average at best, while he's kicking goals up forward?

Interesting that we are experimenting at this stage of the season. Still time ,but if we are serious about making an impact in the Finals(and of course we are) then we need to settle positions down.Goodes back to the middle has been a brilliant match winning move. Rhys to FF worked well but is he a long term solution there. His wonderful body work would not have worked on a Lake or Scarlett. If we bring in someone new they need time as well. Could be an interesting few weeks ahead!

I doubt Shaw will need to worry about Lake or Scarlett lining up on him, particularly if Bradshaw gets back.

Vesz has spent time in defence; if the tank's OK, perhaps worth a run. Leave Shaw where he is contributing.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I am heading down to this one as well. Should be great. The Demons will be a stiff test for us.

must win game given the run home. Id expect us to win , but the demons at the mcg are a lot better side than on any other ground. They have pace and go down the guts when on song and that could bother us.

If we play like yesterday should be a comfortable win
Theres not much left to say

According to Roos at the after match function, bolton and seaby may not make it back and bradshaw will only start running this week but will still miss the next 2 matches.
