    NAB game on Sat Night

Looks like 7Mate or 73 in my language are playing adelayed broadcast at 10.30 for those of us who don't have Foxtel. Its something at least.

Fortunately I shall be at the ground, and will file a report at some stage or other.

I saw that, but I thought it was on 1 or 11. I could be wrong.
You'd think having the 2 new teams they might want to show them off to the free world.
A bit of promoting wouldn't hurt either teams.

But I guess someone thought better of it.

So if one were to hypothetically leave after the first 2 games, the games that involve the Swans, one could hypothetically reach home and watch the broadcast of the game.

    Thanks maaaaate

Sydney, GC & GWS aren't going to pull ratings like the Collingwood/Carlton/Richmond and Essendon/Brisbane/St Kilda fixtures.

As a side note - the team list will be up at noon.

Poor viewer ratings in Sydney could very detrimental to the the progress of GWS. The League journos would love nothing more than a write up about how bad the TV figures were. Quality of the teams/game wouldn't help either and I'm sure the journos would gloss over that as well. They like to leave out details like how the teams were missing key players. Although I'm sure they'll love to point out that Folau isn't ready to play yet.

Its definitely 73, I have checked on the website tv guide, double checked on my set top box tv guide, and double checked again in case the AFL strip it away from us as punishment for not being Victorians, and yes, its still there and I am going to record too. Being channel seven it will probably be heavily edited, but its better than nothing.

Please note, this is in Sydney, I have no idea about other states.....sorry.

Also please note; according to our newspapers in Sydney, the AFL gets an occasional mention in "other sports", we don't even rate a page in the SMH, so what hope has GWS got, let alone the Swans. Even an article on Kizza I had to read on the Victorian newspaper site! It didn't make the Sydney one!

No sign of the team yet. Selection headaches, eh.

It doesn't show online for the Melbourne Channels either, but I'm sure I saw it in the TV guide, from last sunday.
