The stats say Mummy had 43 hitouts to 24 to Warnock, and 12 possessions, 4 marks, 9 tackles and 2 goals to Warnock's 7 possessions, no marks, 3 tackles and no score contribution. To my naked eye during the game, I thought Mumford was one of the few Swans having an impact and I didn't notice Warnock other than as a big body competing at clearances.
Excellent reply Liz...I still love your work

    My thoughts:

    Shaw was good.
    McVeigh was fantastic.
Hanners was good, had some nice touches in the last quarter which almost seemed to spark us to action.
ROK was meh, though he sacrificed a lot of his game to an unstoppable Judd.
    Kennedy was fantastic again.
Everitt wasn't nearly as bad as everybody says.
    Bird was good.
Jack was great pre-injury and solid post-injury.
Kennelly was great early, but looked like he tired towards the end. Will be better for the run.
    White was poor, again.
Reid was very composed in defence. Still prefer him as a forward, but it's good to know he can play both ends very effectively.
McGlynn was great. Our only consistent goalkicker this year.
    Jude was OK.
Richards was great in defence, immovable. Having a great season.
    Mattner was good.
Jetta was better than everybody is giving him credit for. Had some really nice touches.
    Moore was OK.
Goodes put in mountains of effort but it just wasn't his night.
Pyke was a huge relief to have back in the side. Easily won the majority of his ruck contests, very happy.
Smith was great all night except for a 5 minute period where Betts inexplicably gave him a bath, and two kicks OOTF.
Mumford was our best. Supreme effort in the ruck.
Bevan was ordinary once again. He's actually a good player up forward, should have been played there.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Even Roosey left early to beat the traffic out of the car park.

    Not a good sign.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

    narf!
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

    My thoughts the day after

    Goodes, dissapointing.
Coaching decision not to run him (Goodes) on the ball even moreso.
Bevan's not a backman, hes at his best as a defensive forward.
Macca was a much harder runner defensively a few years ago and now only runs hard forward.
    White STINKS!
    Interchange stewards suck.
I love Kennedy, Kennelly, Richards, Mummy, Jude and Judd (even tho he doesnt play for us)

Bevan is not going to learn now - he tries his guts out I reckon, but he won't improve or change. Be of some value to GWS I suspect.
Just got back to the computer FL. Agree again. I think Roosy understood the problem and I have a bit of confidence that Horse does but lately I've been wondering just what this guy has been smoking with some of the unbelievable stuff ups. Clearly if we need a small defender then he is not the one to persevere with.I think there are better options for small forwards too.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!
