Just embarassing.

This is going to be a record game
Records are going to be broken. If Essendon continue the way they are now, watch the most goals in a quarter, biggest difference, biggest ever score and a host more records fall.
Yes it is embarassing, but interesting now to see the list of records they are anihilating.
The thing that worries me more than what happens today is what will happen next year. It seems that GWS will be coming in to the comp next year in a weaker position than the Suns did this year, so what does this suggest for 2012????
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
I was just about to post this.
What a n absolute embarassment for GC and the AFL.
The goal Umpires are going to get RSI today.

Sunbelievable.
At least they've scored a goal.
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news
4 goals now. Making a fight of it.
Incredibly they might win the 2nd Qtr. Got to wonder where the effort shown this qtr was in the 1st.

Suns have outscored them this quarter. Get on them at 90-1 to win!

Exactly!!!
The Suns had a few years start on the Swans to get their house in order. They got a real coach, not has-been who is employed for generating media. They have also had the best crack at the off-contract players and given the other clubs an extra year to tie up their talent.
More importantly, no players going to GWS will fall the "we'll be competitive" line the Suns sold. They'll know that they are in for 2-3 seasons of absolute hidings. Sure they'll get some idiots chase the money but not any players worth their salt. Dale Thomas from Collingwood has said as much.
Seeing that mob get absolutely pummelled by the Bullants yesterday with Izzy looking like Bozo the Clown, it was inconceivable to see them being anything but a complete embarassment for the AFL for many seasons to come. And to think that this super TV deal is largely going to be spent propping those clowns up.
The Melbourne Media will have a field day and rightly so....
There was an interesting discussion about this on On The Couch last night. GWS will be watching the Suns' progress closely all year with a view to looking at the way they've gone about it and learning from it. I'd say that we'll see GWS trade some of their draft picks for established players. They'll probably also look at the second tier comps around the country to find mature rookies. The Suns have the talent but lack the seasoned pros you need to complement them.
If Daisy, for example, won't sign of his own free will the solution is to get his club to trade him for a high pick.
Today's a draft of your epitaph
Getting mature players isn't enough. The Suns problem is that they're players, even the AFL 'mercenaries' (thankyou Simon Black) are the slight, silky sort with the exception of Hunt (who doesn't know how to use it), Brown (suspended) and Bock.
GWS would do well to not neccessarily target the best players, but the honest ones who can't be blown off the ball if their teammates aren't there to help. Sure, they'll still get pummelled while their draft picks come good, but the goal here is to be competitive in their first year, and hence be relevent to western Sydney. Failure there could set them back for years to come.
