Watching the game down here (Melbourne) on TV, it seemed like the atmosphere at the ground was actually pretty good which I know is unusual for ANZ.
To those that were there, am I right? Or was the noise coming from the TV deceptive?

Everyone was going ballistic. We had your typical obnoxious pies fans in front of us so it was great to shut them up. It was a very exciting game after all!!!!
It was certainly a great atmosphere and very vocal in my area in the Red Zone. The Red Zone is now general admission, so there was a healthy collection of Pie peeps in the vicinity, so the banter was lively.

The atmosphere at our past three matches at ANZ has been very good, because they've all been thrillers. In fact, I'd stick my neck out and say that the atmosphere at the elimination final against Carlton last year was the best atmosphere game in Sydney since the famous semi-final against Geelong at the SCG in 2005.
You're right Gezball. The atmosphere was fantastic. And I agree with Cheer Squad that the last three games which includes the Essendon Sunday afternoon game in Rd 2 have been terrific. I guess it helps that we won two of them.

Atmosphere is the result of how people react to a particular game. My opinion has always been that the same game and reaction at the SCG would be so much better simply because how the grounds are designed.
Makes the mouth water to think of how terrific the atmosphere would have been if that game was held in front of 40k at the SCG.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
