    No Smith, No Swans

He's become an integral part of our defence.

Yes, big loss - along with Malceski.

Defence was fine, midfield was lousy, and when Bevan is your best forward you're screwed.

Foward is the issue. Take a look at Essendon, they were able to get the ball forward and convert. Sounds so simple..

Can't kick goals... assume we make it in September it will be brief. Writing has been on the wall for a number of weeks now (even when we were winning)

Really could have used him on Petrenko tonight.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Sure would. Hopefully he's fit for next week. But I'm a bit over it anyway. Gone are the days when you knew we'd win the close ones.

Not sure if you know the Coodabeens (been a serious & satirical footy radio show for about 30 years) . On the radio this morning they commented that the swans supporters are so lucky as they know the team always "puts in". Made me feel good until tonight.

No, haven't heard of the Coodabeens. But I was thinking how unlucky Richmond fans are with their lack of effort today. Yes, our team is renown for "putting in" but the close ones get away from us now.

You can listen on the net - ABC melb (on the dial 774) every Sat morning (11am to 1pm). They podcast after 6:30pm but you should be able ot pick it up live, you can also see them on The Coodabeen Champions Bit if a footy institution down here. One o fthe crew (torch Magee) is a keen swans fan.

Big Smith fan - future captain...no doubt.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
