I've seen ads on TV for the game. Plenty of my lay-person friends are asking about it and are interested in my thoughts on the game. There seems to be a raised interest level from my observations, but I accept that might mot be universal.

If you buy tickets a couple of days out from a blockbuster game, sure you may not get cheap seats; such is life. However for casual fans affordable options are always available and the Swans have always given good deals for those who want a taste of what AFL is like. People within my family were interested but casual fans and a few years ago saw the 3 match superpass flyer in their mail box. The deal was for 3 (ANZ) games with extremely cheap options ((i'm talking less that $15 a game) and included a little freebie cap. This translated to greater support and patronage.

The notion that people are consistently priced out of the footy is a little ridiculous.

Good observation. It's always cheaper if you sort it out well in advance.

I noticed a couple of TV ads for the game last weekend, and there's been some local press advertising this week.

It's been mentioned the game is Sydney's best chance to beat Collingwood for a long time.

Apart from that, it's business as usual.

With a bit of luck, with might get close to the 60K mark by tomorrow night.

If they're selling tickets to Level 6, that means the Levels 1-4 must be close to sold out. Here's hoping.
