    Chill

We could have (and should have) beaten the pies last week, and then all the talk of mass change over of players for this weeks game wouldnt even be mentioned. Malthouses swans doom and gloom would never be printed, and Buckley would be lambasted for dropping D.Swan.

Saying that though, TDL out, Morton In.

Have to say, I am pretty relaxed about it all. Round 22 and 23 will reveal more about Destiny 2012.

I just watched the replay which was my first viewing. I was suprised after having reading the forums about the gloom. Seemed to me it was a tight arm wrestle, with both teams generally executing their defensive strategies and offence failing more often than not as a result. Theirs was more efficient and they won. Much to learn from, but a positive I looked at it. Besides Beams goal from an attacking spot, which was created by an open forward line after the clearance where their forwards had pushed up, and they luckiluy enough ripped it straight out the guts, it could have been a 2 point loss.

We just can't miss that many shots or kick OOB for 30+mins and be surprised we lost to them. Out defense and mids made sure it wasn't a blow out and that we were still more than in it come to the crunch. So i'd say the positives outweighed the negatives compared to past games, as we lost it, more than they won it.

    Lastly Teddy Richards you Star!

I thought it was a sheep weather alert from the title.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

You mean a sheep grazers alert? you have to watch out for them - those sheep graziers go crazy this time of year. (crutching will do it too you)

+1 the game was great to watch, I felt like we lost the game rather than them winning it.

Except crutching at straws, (had to be said)

i thought funny enough our forward pressure was brilliant but once we got the ball we missed 4 or 5 goals from players who would have got 2 to 3 of those in a less pressured game................maybe they can convert the next time as that would be the difference

OUT for them Krakouer, Johnson, Ball, Goldsack, Swan nor Simon Buckley who has played most games last two seasons and no Thomas for most of the match

OUT for us - Reid, Rohan, Jude

I suppose you could say that Beams has no leapfrogged Johnson now in form and role - but Swan, Ball, Krakouer, Goldsack would be back in a heart beat

so approx 4 out for them that would be walk ins and 3 for us

maybe it was a more even matchup then I thought ?

I'm not chilling. A top 4 finish is a rarety, a top 2 nigh unobtanium. In our best position for years we have to give ourselves every chance to not only beat the Hawks and Cats but keep it rolling in the finals.

    Starts sweating and shaking again.

I think I met Destiny 2012 at the Taxi Club once???

I'm relaxed - might not be next Saturday for the Hawks match but I really do think we'll have a big win this weekend...
