Yes it wasn't all that long ago that the lunatic fringe of this forum wanted him sacked - along with LRT, Malceski, Pyke et al. Gets rather boring actually.
If Roos wanted the Carlton job, he easily could have had it. It makes you think what a great coaching group came out of the 2005 GF year. It produced Roos, Lyon and Longmire, the 3 best coaches going around in the AFL.
How fitting he got coach of the year, yesterday's effort was brilliant, considering the injury issues....fantastic effort from the Horse. have dissected some TV viewing already, some telling shifts and moves, I thought he was a good coach but now I think he's a truly great coach.
