Thread: High altitude training

The new trend will be training in hot conditions - (apparantly get the body used to extreme conditioning) rather than altitude, many Euro soccer clubs are doing this now.
I think I read either Power or crows will be undertaking this pre season using the "hot? " Method.

Once you reach the dizzy Hgts of a GF win you will regard the hype of Altitude training is a lot of thin air.

    Cheers

Did you find anyone you could have a good yak with !!!!

I can see the relationship between Him-a-laya's and a beach in Thailand.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

I'm doing that now by wearing my thermal underwear and a binnie to yoga classes. Instead of "salute to the sun", I'm doing a "roll in the duck quilt doona".

I can't test whether it works as I can't afford a plane trip.

I hear GWS' pre-season training will involve the gruelling climb of the twin peaks of Mt Druitt and Rooty Hill....
