The AFL wants clubs to use rev-up entrance songs.

I get why, I don't mind it. Club song for entrances and wins, rev up songs at the beginning of each quarter, Up There For Sydney at the 3/4 break. I guess it's about making new traditions. I am sure they won't replace the club songs.

Careful Jono, that sentence is one auto correct away from going horribly wrong.

A mash-up with Charlene's 'I've Never Been to Me' would work quite well.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

Yes, I am firmly in this camp. It's abhorrent that football is seen purely as entertainment. Rose Tattoo? Queen? Seriously? I suppose I can always listen to my ipod until the game starts.

And Tony Armstrong Primmy, please elaborate. Esoteric used in the pejorative? He actually sounds to me like he could be an interesting fellow. Adventurous even.

I'll admit I've always believed the club song to be a victory song and should only be sung in response to a win. It's why I liked Up there for Sydney when it used to be played as we ran on.
Let's not forget when it was played after EVERY goal!

I'm thinking Culture Club's 'Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?'
