I just came on to the site to post the same message. I guess it wouldn't be Friday night footy in Sydney if it wasn't cold and wet.

Surely it can't be colder than it was at last year's Geelong SCG game. Those were Arctic-like conditions.
There was a family sitting next to us for last year's game and my enduring memory was of the two kids huddled underneath a blanket in the last quarter, it was THAT cold. I often get a bit nervous when people take their little kids to the footy especially at night games, it can be pretty overwhelming for them with the lights and the roar of the crowd. One of my cousin's kids who lives in the States is really sensitive to loud noises and when she took him to Disneyland he spent most of the evening covering his ears because he knew the fireworks were going to go off. Every kid is different though, some cope really well in many situations.
I can't find my wool socks!!!
I left my winter footy clothes clean up too late!!! I am only in autumn mode.
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood
I'm glad I haven't put my Antarctic gear away - though that'd be similar to what I wore at the GF last year. And that turned out to be sunny!
Looks like I'll be indulging in another scarf tonight - the winter turnover has yet to happen.
