I don't mind the draw, though I would have liked at least a couple of tougher games coming into the final 4 rounds to make us cherry ripe for the finals...I reckon even though they have been tough games and we have lost it stands us in good stead...though having games we should win might be what we need to propel us into the top 2 if it is a close season as most predict it will be

Requisite whinge Hawthorn have 15 home games. We have 8.

Vic clubs have such soft draws. They will never miss the 8 with that draw

I think this is a valid point. Huge difference.

With four teams having the MCG as their home ground, isn't it logical that they would have 15 home games?

I will inform CityRail , so that they know to schedule extensive trackwork for that weekend

Why couldn't they give this to Collingwood instead I ask?
On the plus side we get a Canberra game

A very good run into the finals compared to the games against top sides in previous years.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

no it's a draw. Would rather have 15 games at the scg regardless of who we play. We have 14 away games essentially. They have a soft draw

The Age makes a stab at quantifying the draw. The Swans come in at 11th (easiest). The Tigers are the real burglars - a top 8 team with 4th easiest draw.

While there are 10 clubs in one state, this will (and has to be) always be the case.

On 2013 form, they probably have the toughest draw.

In any case, I think people get way too carried away with the draw. I don't know anyone who picks 9 winners every week.
