How funny is it that both Adelaide and West Coast will be wanting the Swans to win this week to keep their chances alive. Do you think Adelaide will be wanting Tippett to kick a bag?

What's even funnier is that if a miracle happens and the Magpies beat the Hawks, then Eddie will be barracking for us!! He would hate that ????.
I hope we win and the Eagles finish 8th...would be a nice touch given our past rivalry. I'll always have a soft spot for them as a football club, it's hard to think of another rivalry which was so fierce without the hatred and with so much mutual respect.

I RESPECT YOU!
WE RESPECT YOU TOO!
Yeah...There are plenty of "mutual feelings". ^^^^ Not sure respect is one of them.

Whats the scenario which makes richmond finish 9th?

Do people really dislike them that much or is it purely because that rivalry existed?
I looked forward to the West Coast games more than any other because you knew it was going to be a hard, tough, uncompromising battle (and most likely decided by less than a kick).
And outside of Sydney games i loved watching the Eagles of that era play...how could you not enjoy watching Cousins, Judd, Kerr, Cox and co. go about their business?
It was rivalry in its purest form, based only on footballing contests...not controversies, melees or any 'line in the sand' type games.
