Lucky to top 36,000 I reckon.
The memory's a little hazy now, but I think once you login to your Telstra online account, there's a link that takes you to a special Ticketek page where the only category you can buy is their special discounted one. Pretty sure you only need to have one account, buying up to a maximum of 8 tickets per transaction. You might be able to buy more by starting another transaction.
Thanks - found this video which agrees with you. Looks like I need to set up (or dig out) my telstra account.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.
I'm watching this prelim now. The crowd noise was very loud especially when Jetta kicked the goal from THAT run. Loved Bruce's commentary..."Usain Bolt couldn't catch him" ????.
I'm hoping for at least 50,000.
Out of curiosity I compared the ticket prices between ANZ and MCG. Category 1 is the same but for all other categories ANZ is cheaper.
We shpuld get 40000 with die hards. Getting any more than that depends on media saturation level this week.
But I do have to say the surface will probably be the best its ever been.
As long as it doesn't rain on Friday the crowd should be pretty good. I would say 44,000. I would be surprised if we reach 50,000.
Tested setting up the Telstra bits for a pre-paid SIM and it all works and the footy ticket option is visible (although waiting to be updated for the prelim). I wonder (1) if there will be a small spike in $2 SIM cards tomorrow morning and (2) what the cap is on Telstra priced tickets.
Wow. Torn between waiting for this deal or getting in early and paying the higher price.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
