When is the B sample taken? At the same time as the A sample, or just last week?
Can someone clarify this for me?

The B sample is taken at the same time. They do 2 tests in case somehow the first has been contaminated. It is very rare for the B sample to come back with a different result.

It's all taken at the same time. But the urine is put into two bottles: one marked Sample A and the other Sample B and then both bottles sealed (I think by the player themselves). Sample A is tested first and if positive the player is notified. Then Sample B is tested (the player or his representative is allowed to be present when Sample B is opened and tested).
So effectively it is one sample but with a built-in security against a fear or allegation that the first tested sample was tampered with before or during the testing process. The player or his rep can see for themselves that the bottle has not been interfered with since it was sealed and can see what happens as the second test is done.
This is why B samples virtually always confirm the original positive results.

    Thanks kids.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
