Thread: Round 11: North Melbourne v Sydney Swans

The midfield in the second quarter were amazing! Just like the old Geelong teams...great footy...but they seem a little rattled now after the hit on Hanners

I like the way we have steadied after the ferocious start to the qtr by north! Don't like the way we are letting their talls take some uncontested marks in our forward line though. We need to compete and get the ball to ground more!

SHAW and PYKE by far our worst players. Team playing great but can't carry two passengers every week.

SHAW is just not up to it.

Where is Benny when you need him? We need the tough little guy ....and why wasn't that in the back to Shaw?

I 2nd the Shaw sentiment, the game is moving past him! Bring on Robinson!

Boomer has definite little man syndrome - like a little fox terrier yapping away at a rottweiler thinking it's so tough ... not even realising that the rottweiler could eat it if it could be bothered. Hope Buddy doesn't kill Boomer.

The umpiring is appalling - north are a dirty snippy side - someone knock out boomer, Thomas and ferrito. (I know me bad!)

If booing inspires play like the last month from Goodsey, keep up the booing opposition supporters!

Perhaps I'm just nave, but isn't throwing your opponent to the ground and then putting a choker hold on them, right in front of the umpire, worthy of a free kick?

Shaw, Rampe (and even Smith) have been shocking tonight.

Goodsey saved us in that quarter.
