I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
As we already pretty well knew, the club clearly keeps injuries close to their chests. No mention of Pyke's sore knee as recently as Tuesday in Tom Harley's report. Now we are told Pyke has had a sore knee (as we guessed) for several weeks. Fair enough, they don't want to advertise players' weaknesses when they are carrying injuries.
Ludwig will be beside himself. Got his wish with Pyke out - but replaced by Ludwig's other whipping boy Derickx!
As long as Zak can avoid being concussed I will be happy.
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!
It is quite possible pokey has been playing with minimal training during the week most of the season

Typo or a description of his hit outs

A big game for Tom D against his old team. If he hold his own, a big win for us with the ruck area.
Naismith didn't play ressies 2 weeks ago so it wouldn't be too wise to throw him into the firsts on little recent match fitness. Nankervis didn't play either as he was travelling emergency for the Seniors- who I don't think is a true 1st ruck option, but more in the Tippo forward/2nd ruck role.
Hope derricx does better than he did against Eastlakes in the ressies - I was pretty underwhelmed by that performance from him.

Forgot tonight was a footy night. Just turned on TV, scores level! So what do I do, barrack for the Pies so if/when we win tomorrow night we draw level with Freo? What a dilemma!
