Thread: 1st Qualifying Final Freo v Sydney Pre Match Discussion

But if we can use the extra game time from playing through a Semi to put some experience into our younger boys then we can go into the GF much stronger. e.g. Rosey to be subbed in each game for a quarter and a half. A full start in the Big Dance, by which time he's kicking 4 goals a quarter. His Last quarters are pretty similar to one Nick Davis last quarter I vaguely remember. Fitness - we've got plenty of, Endurance - we eat that $@## up, and the warmer weather will prevent hammy injuries and whatever niggles Gazza constantly gets.

All we need to do is to play Weagles in the prelim...
I've done some research based on science (like Swisse vitamins). There have been 6 "supermoons" this year (where the moon is at the closest point to the earth.) 3 of them were in Jan-Mar so don't count. 1 was 31st July and another 30th August. The next is on September 28th - prelim final weekend(ish). Our last 2 supermoon results: Wins over Adelaide by 52 & StKilda by 97. Weagles: Draw with Gold Coast, Loss to Adelaide by 57. We are clearly the best supermoon trackers. And the universe owes us one... and the bonus is we get to see our boys go round 3 more times!
You make a lot of common sense here .
You've cleared a big fog in my troubled mind.
    Thank you.

I forgot to mention the most important bit! This last supermoon will coincide with a total Lunar Eclipse which will turn the moon red... also known as a Blood Moon. Thank you science, thank you Copernicus and thank you that guy with the triangles & hypotenuses.

Unfortunately I think I've opened a can of worms though... Checking up on Nostradamus, apparently he and the bible both agree that Armageddon is due a few days before the Grannie so it may very well be a No Result! depending on how religious you are.

Blue Moon is end of the world warning, says 'modern-day Nostradamus'

All the more reason why we should give young Rosey some game time. One thing's for sure though, Hawthorn can't win because the meek shall inherit the Earth. And the meek won't stand for their crap!

Apparently more people are killed by hypotenuses each year than any other animal.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Bloody nervous about this game. Hate versing those @@@@@@s, and that smug bastard Lyon.

If we had our ins I'd be extremely confident. All we can hope for is a close game and not a blow out like last time. I want to silence those flogs over in the west and their stupid supporters with no brains.

Fyfe back in. I swear everytime a player comes back in it's against us. Bullsh!it. I'm going to research past games because every single time a star player is injured they come back against us.

Interesting to note the emergencies experience. Freo 203 games, Sydney 3.

You know what? That's a really bloody good team we're putting on the park! No excuses, we're in with a shot here.
