I don't want to 'hook' Lloyd, but feel that if Foote came in he might be asked to play a similar role. I can even throw more fuel on the fire by speculating that we will play Foote to see how well he does in case the Mitchell contract talks break down.

Anyway, enough of that. Back to the serious stuff.

This photo deserves a good caption, but I'm going to bed now. Hopefully, I will log on in the morning and someone will come up with a gem.

This is fantastic. I love these umpires. They're all lifetime Swans members. We'll get 10 free kicks before the coin toss. I had to take a couple of tranquilizers just to contain my excitement.

Just saw the announcement that the Lions will debut South Sudanese rookie Reuben William. We've got to play Aliir this week. Not only does he thoroughly deserve to play based on his form, but what a great story to have 2 Sudanese players in the AFL for multicultural round. Only downside is that it would make Gillon McLaughlin too happy.

Lang, Cockatoo for Stanley, Kersten, Gregson.

    In: Aliir Naismith TRichards Papley
    Out: McGlynn Laidler Nankervis Heeney.

    Suprised they excluded Laidler
Maybe Heeney has been carrying something as suspected

A bit harsh on Laidler. Glad Aliir is back, looked good last week and took the game on. Teddy wasn't challenged or very involved in the second half.

Heeney listed as managed. Other three have been omitted which is a little surprising for Laidler

Emg are XRichards Nankervis and BJack

I would of liked to see B Jack in for Towers...At least he tackles and doesn't shirk the contest.

He would be up and about, big time, for his bro's 200th.

At least 1 member of his family would be at Simonds Stadium if B Jack gets picked !!

Nankervis McGlynn and Laidler all named for reserves. Heeney not.
