If we can keep the group together, and the youngsters in the team/on the fringes ultimately become the players we hope they will be - we are going to be a superb team come ~ 2019. I think a lot of people outside of Swans fans don't realise just how inexperienced our team is - especially some of our more important players in that second tier group. Keeping the crew together will be tough though.
We really need the experienced midfield brigade to really step up tonight - our youngsters have been in general doing their bit, but the top guys haven't got out of first gear yet. We need a lot more from them, starting tonight.

Yes, the umpire equation. At least #16 (Jacob Bollockson) isn't playing - but Stevic is.
There has been some talk about letting the umpires know about their 'performance' in the 2016 GF. Stevic umpired in the GF so here's the opportunity to provide some feedback about his GF performance. I live in Melbourne so won't be at the game but i'll certainly scream at the TV.
Mr Stevic - The number one member of the "I hate Sydney Swans" Brigade. Well I see the talk Longmire had with peter Schwab did a lot of good again!! He will give at least 3 Goals to Collingwood form free kicks, none to us. The arrogance of the AFL is almost unbearable.
Nice piece in this mornings Adelaide Advertiser about Dawson's debut. Quotes his father as saying they are rapt in the way Jordon has been looked after by the club and can't speak highly enough of the Swans.
Another happy camper, good luck to him on his debut tonight.
Unfortunately Sandrevan I can't make the game tonight (Thursday/Friday night games are simply not a possibility this season for me coming up from Canberra), so I won't be able to deliver my long promised tirade to Stevic. It will have to wait till later on in the season when we get him at a game I am going to

Despite Tom Harley saying Papley was off the LTIL, perhaps this has not actually occurred, since Papley is not listed as playing in the reserves, so there would be no reason to take him off the list. So Fox may still be taking Papley's place on the list.
