At least we (Sydney-based) fans didn’t have to spend a bucket load of money to watch our team get flogged. Poor sods from Melbourne sitting there at Optus, how miserable.

Swans kicked 5 goals in first half of that match not 5 points. Sure it was a miserable day but not comparable to this match (so far). And we didn’t pay to fly to Perth to watch it. And for Demon fans, after all these years ...

The two prelims have been nightmarish reminders of the 2014 GF for me.

It's going to be a long flight back. God, I hope none of them drove across the country? Or, ugghh, caught a bus. Actually, do they still have interstate buses?

The first goalless half in a final since 1927.
How demoralising for Dees fans who have travelled to WA so high on hopes and Adrenalin.
I really thought Melbourne had strong momentum and excellent prospects.
Eagles may as well start resting some key players.

Tell me about it , especially if you shout the whole family and they all go shopping as well.

Of course it is. I am not arguing otherwise, nor in fact interested in an argument about which set of fans (Swans 2014, Dees 2018) got hurt the most.

Mine is a standalone comment that I feel very sorry for Demon fans who have flown to Perth, excited after so many years to have an opportunity to play in a GF, to be sitting there watching this.

If I was Melbourne I'd shake hands and admit defeat.
