This post is about a past Assistant Coach rather than player. On Melbourne radio today, Wayne Carey claimed that John Blakey, father of the Lizard, was not consulted on the recent decision to make Adams the Interim North coach after the sacking of Noble. If this is true, then this is pretty poor treatment of their Senior Assistant Coach. Blakey was highly thought of at the Swans and deserves better treatment. Maybe Blakey could return to us next season, especially if Pike leaves to take one of those senior coaching vacancies?
